Beef Quality Assurance certification must be updated every two
years.
Recertification provides producers with updates to the BQA program
information
that have surfaced since the producer originally had the classroom
training.
This consists of a refresher course for the BQA guidelines and is
also an
excellent time for producers to perform a self-assessment of their
operation.
There are currently three methods of recertification. The
Pennsylvania Beef
Council holds recertification classroom training sessions throughout
Pennsylvania each year. Producers can simply attend a training
session at the
nearest location. We encourage all producers who are able to attend a
classroom
training to do so. If a classroom training is not scheduled locally,
producers
are able to either utilize this website to recertify or request a
CD-ROM
containing the recertification material from the PBC office.
To complete the online recertification, view the powerpoint files
and submit
the recertification form located below. If an error occurs with the
online
submission, the forms are also available to print in order to either
fax or
mail back to the Pennsylvania Beef Council.
